Catching up!

Well, I see it's been 5 months since I've blogged. Too much time has gone by but I was a little burnt out on blogging, scrapbooking, and picture taking. Altho I did get Olivia and Alyssa's 1st year album completed during that time. So....I took a little time off, didn't bring my camera to many events which now I feel guilty about so I have very few pics (besides the granddaughters) for the last several months. Hmmmm....let me see, what's happened in those 5 months?

Well probably the most exciting news was the birth of Adam, Megan and Brad's first child and here's their announcement. I haven't seen Adam much so this pic will have to do til Megan provides me with an updated one. Congrats Megan and Brad!



Also, I understand Jen and Mike are thinking pink! So glad, I was worried all we would see is camos on their kids, but looks like Mike will have some worrying in his future---A little girl!

Just to recap and photos will be forthcoming but here's whats happened since January. Carole and Dan have had big birthdays. Hate to give their age away but they are now MEDICARE eligible. Mike had his 59th birthday, big year next year, Greta Welch had her first birthday in March as did Olivia and Alyssa, and Harrison and Alaina had their 3rd birthday! Just recently Collin, Cliff and Suzanne's son, celebrated his 2nd birthday. And I almost forgot Cooper, who had his first birthday. Wow that's a lot of celebrating and I have very few photos to include here for any of those celebrations. Julia had her 31st birthday, a little less hectic than 2008 when the twins were only a week old. April brought Rich's birthday on appropriately April Fool's Day, and Stephanie and Tim had their birthdays in April also. Mike's mom had a big birthday in May, and June is filled with lots of anniversaries--Tim and Steph, Dan and Carole, Mark and Rikki, Suzi and Miles, and Doug and Julia on the last day of June. Hope everyone celebrates their special day!

I feel really bad but Mike's Aunt Pat and Uncle John and his sister Carol were here recently and I didn't take one photo. We were taking care of Alyssa and Olivia, the camera was out but between watching the girls and preparing meals, etc, etc, not many photos were taken. I had forgotten how much time babies take x 2! However we had a really nice visit with everyone.

I've updated my slide with a few pics of Olivia and Alyssa and as I said I will post some more photos soon.

Glad to be back and hope you enjoy the new photos. It's been a wonderful way for me to keep in touch with lots of you.
